Summary
As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to assist in onboarding new or existing customers using different software systems and databases. Your role will involve data review and imports, SQL data cleanup, configuring new customer integrations, configuring custom workflows, and various tasks related to database management and system maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support new customer onboarding tasks using various tools and workflows, including:
- Perform data migration for new customers, make sure all data is in proper format to insert into SQL.
- Setup and configure “Fexalytics” Advanced Reporting/ Tableau
- Create Custom Dashboards
- In app + SQL snippets
- Modify best practice workflow to accommodate customers unique requirements
- In app + Ruby code snippets
- Modify or create communication rules and templates
- In app + Ruby code snippets
- Setup new accounting Exports:
- In app + FTP
- Modify customers permissions as needed
- Set up new customer site to match “seed” site, clean up site to prepare for go live
- Support project manager on miscellaneous tasks required to complete new customer onboardings
- Support all other customer experience teams with technical tasks related to supporting new or existing customers
- Attend customer meetings as needed to answer questions or explain technical configurations to stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Coding experience is not necessary, but an understanding of how SAAS platforms operate is required.
- Moderate experience constructing SQL queries and performing SQL updates required.
- Additional experience with SQL and especially PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Moderate experience with HTML
- Moderate experience with Regular Expressions
- Have worked on an a SAAS application
- Experience in a technical support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to learn new tools and software quickly.
- Positive, self-starter attitude.
