What do you love most about Fexa?

I love the fact that all of our information is readily accessible in one place. Prior to this, we didn’t really have a work order management system. With our old system, there was no way for us to collect data, or anything. Having everything in one central place, where everyone can access it, has been pivotal.

Tell us about your experience with Fexa customer service?

Initially with our implementation, because of the differences between our teams, they use the system a different way. Initially we were trying to use one landing page and it got really confusing. So, our implementation took a little bit longer, but everyone we’ve encountered was quick to give information and solve issues. Overall, customer service has been great.

What are some challenges facing the industry today?

Battling for your budget. There is a lack of understanding as to what value your FM team brings to the table, so sometimes your money is the first to get cut. Especially when your sales plan for your next fiscal year may not be what it was, they always look to us. That’s our biggest challenge— proving our worth and getting our internal stakeholders to understand how pivotal it is to spend money where R&M is concerned.

What are some technologies you’re looking forward to in the industry?

Smart sensors have been very helpful in occupancy data. When you’re talking about return to office, getting an understanding of how many people are coming back and when, how often, what days, those sensors have been giving us some very important data to take back to leadership to help build these future plans to return to office full time.

Would you recommend Fexa to others?

Of course. For me, in any vendor and partner relationship, communication between your sales team, my team, and the people who work with us everyday from the Fexa team— it’s important to have a cordial, pleasant relationship.
